Lead Complex Network Automation Transformations
Ready to tackle the most challenging network automation projects in the industry? As a Network Automation Engineer III, you'll design and implement sophisticated solutions while mentoring junior engineers. This senior role combines deep technical expertise with customer leadership and strategic thinking.
Your Impact at Itential:
In this senior role, you'll lead our most complex customer implementations, designing solutions that transform multi-domain network operations. You'll serve as the technical expert on projects involving firewall automation, load balancer orchestration, cloud network integration, and compliance automation. Beyond hands-on development, you'll mentor junior engineers and collaborate with architects on solution design. Your deep multi-domain knowledge will help customers achieve unprecedented ROI through automation. You'll influence our product roadmap with field insights and represent Itential's technical excellence in customer engagements.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, telecommunication, computer science, related field or relevant experience required
Experience:
- 5+ years in Network Automation required
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in Ansible, Linux, Python Scripting, Jinja2, REST APIs, JSON, SSH
- Understanding of network devices and configurations across Firewalls, switches, routers, cloud networks, load balancers, etc. with vendors such as: Palo Alto, F5, Cisco, Arista
- Familiar with infrastructure and change management platforms such as: Infoblox, NetBox, ServiceNow
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work with clients
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach in identifying and delivering automation opportunities
- Strong organizational skills with a commitment to delivering quality solutions
Technical Requirements:
- Confluence, Jira, Git, Pipelines
Certifications/Licenses:
- None required
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
- Advanced certifications in networking or automation technologies
Experience:
- Knowledge of Terraform and cloud networking environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Hands-on experience with the Itential Platform
