JOB SUMMARY:
We're seeking a strategic and customer-centric Agile
Product Owner
to lead the evolution of our
Salesforce Service Cloud
platform. If you have a passion for optimizing service workflows, and bring expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, we'd love to hear from you. The Product Owner is an empowered leader, knowledgeable in the business, who is responsible for the end-to-end planning and launch of Products. The incumbent collaborates with customers and business owners to understand business challenges and develop innovative and practical solutions that meet the customer's needs. They develop a Product Roadmap that describes deliverables and strategy, and then execute the roadmap from concept to launch. The Product Owner is responsible for maintaining both the Program and Team backlog for Agile teams, and overseeing and/or conducting the elicitation, organization and documentation of business and solution requirements. They work closely with Business Owners, subject matter experts, Business Analysts and Scrum teams and ensure that the Agile team develops solutions that meet the customer's real needs.

Job Roles And Responsibilities

  • Work with the Product Manager to articulate the vision and high-level Roadmap, and garner consensus across IT, Operations and Product Management.
  • In collaboration with product management, identify and deliver features, gather feedback from stakeholders that will inform feature development, meet with the development team to convey the product roadmaps, and gather data on product usage
  • Own and manage the backlog of the development team
  • Working with other product owners to resolve dependencies and negotiate, coordinate, and align priorities to complete a feature
  • Work with the Technical Lead/Architect to understand technical work and ensure the roadmap and backlog is planned with technical concerns in mind
  • Collaborate with customers, clients and prospective users to understand and anticipate their needs.
  • Work with Portfolio Managers/ Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Domain Architects to create a prioritized Product/Program Backlog for all development work related to the Product.
  • Work with Business Analysts and Agile Scrum Teams to break down big Features into User Stories on the Team backlog for the Agile team to design, build, test and deliver.
  • Attend and actively participate in all relevant Team level Scrum Events and act as the content authority to make sure the Agile Team delivers the right solution at the right time.
  • Attend and actively participate in Program level Agile Events such as PI Planning
  • Act as a liaison between the Agile Team and the customers/stakeholders, making sure Product progress is highly visible and that the team is working/delivering at a sustainable pace.
  • Assist the Agile team as needed to complete stories and with troubleshooting problems and developing recommendations/solutions
  • Establish and govern approach for Product Documentation
  • Support training development for end users and staff members.
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the Company's core values.

JOB SCOPE:
Incumbent works under minimal direction and uses independent judgment to identify issues, trends & problems and recommend action plans and evaluate results on initiatives that may not be clearly defined and are large in scope. Work is varied and complex, requiring the individual to use a broad range of knowledge gained through experience. The position works with internal and external sources to complete objectives, keeping the needs of external and internal customers as a priority when making decisions and taking action.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, And Training)

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree, or 8 equivalent years of related experience
  • 3+ years of agile Product Owner experience with methods such as Scrum, Lean, Kanban or SAFe or 7 years' experience in analysis and design on software development initiatives in analyst role (preferably within a Scrum Agile team)
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives including continuous evaluation and re-ordering of priorities as business needs dictate
  • Experience with distributed (offshore and remote) teams
  • Experience with multiple teams at the same time
  • Product Owner certification
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and PI Planning
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira & Confluence
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches, such as Kanban and hybrid approaches
  • Knowledge of Healthcare industry and understanding all major workflows associated with the healthcare claim processing is beneficial
  • Communication (oral, written and listening), project management, analytic, organization, interpersonal, prioritization, multi-tasking, initiating, communication, problem-solving, planning and technical skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative and cooperative relationships throughout the organization

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in analysis and design on software development initiatives in a Product Owner or Product Management role (preferably within a Scrum Agile team).
  • Experience developing Product vision and Roadmaps and communicating these to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and requirements gathering and management practices such as BDD
  • Knowledge of Agile knowledge management tools such as JIRA and Confluence preferred
  • Knowledge of modelling tools such as Visio, Lucidcharts, preferred
  • International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certifications, AAC, CBAP or CCBA preferred
  • Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
  • Knowledge of Healthcare industry and understanding all major workflows associated with healthcare claim processing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytic, organization, interpersonal, prioritization, multi-tasking, initiating, communication, planning and technical skills
  • Ability to use software and peripherals related to performance of job responsibilities

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $115-130K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
