Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States Vizgen Full time

About Vizgen

Vizgen and Ultivue have joined forces to deliver a powerful and integrated spatial biology solution that bridges spatial transcriptomics and multiplex immunofluorescence proteomics. Vizgen's MERSCOPE platform, powered by MERFISH technology, enables high-resolution mapping of gene expression within intact tissue samples. Ultivue's InSituPlex technology complements this by offering high-plex protein detection within the same tissue context. Together, the combined offering empowers researchers to gain multiomic insights at single-cell resolution, advancing translational and clinical research across oncology, immunology, and neuroscience.

The Role (Germany & Belgium)

Reporting to the VP of Regional Sales, the EMEA-based Regional Account Manager will be responsible for driving commercial success across Vizgen's MERSCOPE platform and reagents as well as Ultivue's multiplex immunofluorescence portfolio. This role requires strong technical knowledge in spatial biology, single-cell analysis, and tissue-based research applications.

The Regional Account Manager will manage and grow a network of customers within their territory, achieving or exceeding assigned revenue goals. Working closely with Field Application Scientists, Marketing, and Business Development teams, the RAM will deliver seminars, coordinate joint Vizgen–Ultivue campaigns, and drive adoption through scientific engagement and consultative selling.

We are looking for a passionate, team-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and can effectively represent the combined Vizgen–Ultivue value proposition to leading academic and biopharma research institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial adoption and achieve/exceed assigned quota for Vizgen and Ultivue product portfolios, including instruments, reagents, and consumables.
  • Identify key markets, accounts, and application areas to expand the installed base across spatial multiomic workflows.
  • Develop strong customer relationships with leading researchers in genomics, pathology, and translational research.
  • Lead joint Vizgen–Ultivue customer engagements, coordinating with both organizations to deliver an integrated solution narrative.
  • Partner with the Field Application Scientist team to organize and execute seminars, workshops, and co-marketing events.

• Identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) to accelerate adoption within EMEA.

  • Communicate product value propositions and ROI to both scientific and business stakeholders.
  • Capture and communicate customer feedback to influence product development and commercialization strategy.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within Salesforce CRM.
  • Mentor newer sales team members to enable success across the EMEA commercial organization.
  • Consistently exceed reagent and consumable revenue targets while driving recurring business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical capital equipment sales experience in life science research tools.
  • Proven track record selling into academic and biopharma markets across Europe.
  • Expertise in spatial genomics, proteomics, digital pathology, RNA-ISH, or single-cell research applications.
  • Strong scientific acumen and ability to translate complex technologies into clear commercial value.
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline required; advanced degree (MSc or PhD) preferred.
  • Existing network of customers within spatial biology and translational research environments.
  • Demonstrated success in both start-up and established company environments.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce), PowerPoint, Excel, and related tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across the EMEA region.
  • Represent both Vizgen and Ultivue professionally and collaboratively in all external engagements.
