The Area Business Transient Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing transient room revenue for The Paramount Hotel Seattle and The Paramount Hotel Portland through the development and management of negotiated corporate accounts, consortia partnerships, and travel management company relationships. This role focuses on identifying, contracting, and retaining high-value corporate and business travel accounts while maintaining brand positioning and ensuring rate integrity across all channels. The manager serves as the primary contact for corporate clients and agencies, leveraging strategic sales initiatives to grow market share and profitability for both properties.

· Solicit, negotiate, and contract new business transient accounts to achieve annual revenue goals for both hotels.

· Manage existing corporate, consortia, and TMC relationships to ensure continued production and account retention.

· Conduct regular account reviews, travel pattern analyses, and production audits to identify growth opportunities.

· Develop and execute action plans to target key feeder markets and high-volume corporate travel accounts.

· Collaborate with Revenue Management to set and adjust negotiated rate strategies, ensuring competitive positioning and rate parity across all channels.

· Work with marketing to support business travel promotions and enhance visibility on GDS and consortia platforms.

· Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and corporate travel demand patterns to anticipate changes and adjust strategy accordingly.

· Maintain a deep understanding of brand positioning, loyalty programs, and chain code marketing initiatives.

· Conduct corporate travel presentations and in-person account visits across key Pacific Northwest markets.

· Attend local and national trade shows, corporate travel events, and consortia showcases to represent both hotels.

· Coordinate familiarization trips, client entertainment, and appreciation events.

· Prepare annual transient segment sales and production goals in collaboration with leadership.

· Create, manage, and update bookings in Opera (hotel PMS), ensuring all rate and reservation details are accurate and current.

· Monitor transient segment performance, market share, and travel agent production reports (e.g., STR, Agency360).

· Coordinate with Reservations and Front Office teams to ensure accurate rate loading and seamless guest experience.

· Ensure cohesive representation of both Paramount properties, emphasizing distinct market advantages while reinforcing brand unity.

· Partner with the Portland and Seattle hotel teams to align transient sales efforts, share best practices, and optimize coverage.

· Participate in weekly sales and revenue meetings for both hotels.

· Support marketing initiatives and assist with content accuracy across OTA, GDS, and direct booking platforms.

· Represent the hotels at community and business networking events to expand local partnerships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95, $105,000.00 per year
