Position Summary:

Loyalty Associate Manager will play a key role in shaping and executing customer-facing promotional strategies within our loyalty program. This individual will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing offers that drive customer engagement, incremental sales, and long-term brand loyalty across all convenience retail locations. Working closely with category management, marketing, analytics, and operations teams, the Specialist will ensure offers are compelling, targeted, and operationally seamless.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, create, and deploy loyalty offers in partnership with category managers, brand partners, and merchandising teams.

  2. Manage the full lifecycle of offers including setup, testing, launch, and post-campaign analysis.

  3. Coordinate with digital and in-store teams to ensure offers are marketed effectively through mobile app, push notifications, email, POS, and signage.

  4. Monitor offer performance (redemption rates, incremental sales, ROI, member engagement).

  5. Partner with analytics and insights teams to identify trends and optimize future offers.

  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on loyalty promotions for internal stakeholders.

  7. Liaise with IT/CRM teams to ensure offer functionality within loyalty platforms.

  8. Partner with guest services and field operations to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth execution in stores.

Working Relationships:

INTERNAL: Within Marketing: Advertising Team, Category Management Team, POS/Price Book Team; Within Store Support Center: IT Department, Legal Department, Finance Team; Retail Operations Team: Retail Vice President's, Regional Manager's, District Manager's, Store Managers EXTERNAL: Direct Vendors

Minimum Education:

Associate's degree in business, Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field

Minimum Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, analytics, marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience working in Marketing, Loyalty

Preferred Experience:

  • 0-3 years of experience working in Marketing, Loyalty
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Experience with customer data platforms (CDP) or CRM tools is a plus.

Soft Skills/Competencies:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Other Requirements:

Travel: 0-10% travel required, mainly to local stores to test offers

Hours & Conditions: Monday – Friday, 8+ hour days in office setting (1 day remote contingent on satisfactory job performance)

Physical Requirements: Minimal physical effort required, sitting / standing at computer for long periods of time. Ability to maneuver and lift up to 10 lbs.
