Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and an extensive knowledge of coffee, ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and teas, according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions about beverages, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, including equipment and dishes.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, batched beverages, and espresso.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while managing time effectively.
Experience
- Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and knowledge of various coffee types is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
