Position Overview

The Contractor – Data Governance will support the enablement and operations of the
Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Quality (CDQ/CDGC)
platform at
Anywhere Real Estate
. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in
data governance technologies, metadata management, cloud infrastructure,
and
stakeholder collaboration.

The contractor will collaborate closely with internal technical and business teams to drive
platform adoption, operational efficiency, and compliance readiness
across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Enablement & Configuration

  • Configure and integrate Informatica
    CDQ/CDGC
    features including source control, release automation, and SMTP/email setup.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues related to
    Secure Agent servers
    , disk space, and buffer pool sizing.

Data Governance Operations

  • Lead
    sprint planning, retrospectives,
    and
    backlog grooming
    for the Data Governance team.
  • Monitor and manage
    data quality rules, dashboards,
    and
    stakeholder reporting.
  • Support issue management processes, including
    defect reporting
    and
    resolution tracking.

Business Use Case Development

  • Develop and maintain
    business use case documentation
    leveraging
    Six Sigma
    principles.
  • Support complaint categorization and analytics integration across
    ServiceNow, Jira,
    and
    Confluent.

User Onboarding & Access Management

  • Manage user provisioning and access setup for the
    Anywhere Data Governance Platform (ADGP)
    .
  • Integrate with
    Okta
    and coordinate
    support ticket resolution.

Cloud Infrastructure Coordination

  • Act as liaison for
    AWS VPC peering connectivity
    and
    secure cloud integration planning.

IPU Planning & Forecasting

  • Support
    Informatica IPU consumption forecasting
    and assist with planning documentation.

Metadata & Glossary Management

  • Participate in
    glossary reviews
    and
    domain mapping
    across platforms such as
    Snowflake, Dash,
    and
    Trident
    to ensure metadata consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • Strong, hands-on experience with
    Informatica CDQ/CDGC
    platform.
  • Experience in
    Data Integration
    technologies and
    cloud platforms
    (AWS, Azure).
  • Deep understanding of
    Data Governance
    concepts including:
  • Data Catalogs, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Workflows, and Dashboarding.
  • Data Quality and Privacy tools.
  • Issue management for data quality defects.

Strategic & Business Alignment

  • Ability to connect technical recommendations with
    business outcomes
    in areas such as:
  • Access management and provisioning.
  • Data quality measurement, issue resolution, and thresholds.
  • Integration patterns, privacy, and security.
  • Regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Vendor roadmap evaluation and future functionality planning.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Proven experience collaborating with
    stakeholders, technology partners,
    and
    cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of
    global privacy requirements (GDPR, CCPA)
    and how to implement them through technology.
  • Ability to
    lead discovery workshops
    and
    technical sessions
    with a focus on
    business value delivery.
