Job Summary

We are a growing pet wellness company dedicated to improving the health and happiness of dogs through gentle, non-anesthetic dental cleanings. Our clients trust us to provide professional, compassionate care in the comfort of their homes. We're now looking for an experienced and reliable Canine Dental Technician to join our Miami-based team.

Position Overview

As a Canine Dental Technician, you will perform non-anesthetic dental cleanings (NAD) for dogs in clients' homesthroughout the Miami area. You should have a calm, confident manner with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and be comfortable working independently in various home environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional non-anesthetic dental cleanings for dogs
  • Safely handle dogs during procedures using gentle restraint techniques
  • Educate pet owners about oral health maintenance and aftercare
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment between appointments
  • Travel between client homes within the Miami area
  • Maintain detailed records of each appointment and treatment provided

Requirements

  • Experience performing non-anesthetic dental cleanings on dogs (required)
  • Strong handling skills and ability to read dog body language
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be punctual, professional, and trustworthy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification or formal training in canine dental hygiene or veterinary assistance
  • Previous experience with mobile or in-home pet care services
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
