Responsibilities & Expectations:**

  • Assist BOH and FOH in all aspects of facility maintenance including but not limited to bussing tables, washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors (customer area and other area of the production place), deep cleaning equipment, removing waste, receiving and storing deliveries, dishwashing at BOH.
  • Clean and maintain workspaces, customer area and storefront throughout the shift (including sanitizing counters, food preparation areas, sweeping floors and sidewalk, mopping, emptying trash, bathrooms, dusting etc.)
  • Assist BOH and FOH team in the receiving and storage of inventory
  • Maintain a clean, safe and aesthetically pleasing space in accordance with operations and sanitation guidelines.
  • Wash, sanitize, and restock dishes, trays, baking tools, and other supplies
  • Take out trash and assist with bakery opening and closing procedures
  • Follow tasks as instructed by managers
  • Commitment to being consistent
  • Assist management with other responsibilities throughout the bakery as needed
  • Handle weekly trip to off site storage

Skills & Requirements:
Relevant Prior Experience As a Porter Is Required

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Capacity to excel on a team or work independently.
  • Ability to work early mornings, holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to work on your feet for a full shift and lift 50+ lbs during the shift
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment
