Business Intelligence and Development Intern

Lima One is searching for a Summer Business Intelligence & Business Development Intern to join our growing team. This internship will provide a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of data, reporting, business development, and operations. 

This person will support key reporting and business intelligence initiatives across the organization, while also gaining visibility into business development strategy and execution. The role will include exposure to relational databases, SQL, Python, Tableau, and reporting automation giving the intern real-world experience with tools and processes critical to careers in software engineering, data science, operations, reporting, and business intelligence. Interns will receive ongoing mentorship from the Business Intelligence team, participate in team meetings, and collaborate with cross-functional partners in Servicing, Sales, and Operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with the Business Intelligence and Business Development teams to support ongoing reporting and strategic initiatives.
• Build and refine Tableau dashboards to provide executive-level visibility into key metrics.
• Use SQL to analyze and transform data from relational databases.
• Assist in optimizing and documenting reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and performance.
• Contribute to business development initiatives through data analysis, reporting, and pipeline visibility.
• Support ad hoc requests from teams across Customer Service, Servicing, Escrow, and Sales.
• Gain exposure to tools like Snowflake, SSRS, Tableau, and Python through practical projects.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, mentorship check-ins, and end-of-summer presentation of findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with SQL and an understanding of relational database concepts.
• Exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
• Experience or coursework in Python is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communicator who can collaborate across teams and document processes clearly.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Program Details

• Location: Onsite in Greenville, SC
• Join us in our brand new, thoughtfully designed headquarters in the heart of downtown Greenville (parking is paid for)
• Housing assistance available for qualified individuals
• Duration: 11 weeks - Monday, May 18th to Friday, July 31st, 2026
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Pay: All our interns are paid for the work they perform, hourly rate dependent on position
