Innovation Fasteners is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in Houston, Texas.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving of inbound freight - unpacking and inspecting materials and supplies.
  • Quality assurance checks on inbound inventory
  • Assembling orders and preparing goods for shipment.
  • Uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders.
  • Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation.
  • Maintain the warehouse in clean order and help out with the warehouse general tasks.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments.
  • Safety glasses required while performing tasks.
  • Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day (with a lunch break)
  • Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
  • Steel-toe boots required.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED requires
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to do basic math
  • Ability to communicate both verbal and written
  • Organized with an ability to keep accurate counts & records
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Experience operating forklift preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
