Job Description

As a Security Officer - Flex in Arlington, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol automotive facilities, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence throughout the location. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.Work closely with client personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and/or site-specific needs.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Being at least 21 years of age is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.CPR and First Aid are preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
