Full-time Senior Maintenance Foreman

Location: Southern NH (Hudson, Nashua, Manchester, and surrounding areas)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round (Snow Operations in Winter)

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Senior Mow/Maintenance Foreman to lead a dedicated mowing crew servicing high-end commercial properties throughout New Hampshire. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for executing scheduled mowing and maintenance services efficiently and to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

The Foreman will manage a small crew, ensure proper use of equipment, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and communicate directly with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding progress, needs, and any onsite issues.

This position is ideal for someone with prior landscaping experience who is ready to take the lead and eventually grow into higher-level roles within the company.

This position offers full-time work, as it is also a dedicated snow position in the winter.

Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Crew leadership: Runs a crew of 2-5 team members. Delegates tasks and keeps the crews on schedule, while maintaining expected quality of work. Trains and coaches team members on mowing techniques, equipment safety, and jobsite standards.
  • Provides collaboration to other crews to ensure excellent teamwork and consistent standards are being met.
  • Jobsite Management: Works with managers to understand daily schedule. Communicates scheduling issues and suggestions to Account Managers. Ensures each property is completed according to scope and expectations. Reports issues, equipment problems, or property damage immediately to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Maintains a clean and organized truck and trailer. Safely operates and maintains zero-turn mowers, walk-behinds, string trimmers, blowers, and other equipment. Performs daily equipment checks and minor maintenance.
  • Customer Involvement: Maintains a professional appearance and respectful demeanor at all times on client properties. Addresses basic client questions politely and refers any service-related concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Snow Responsibilities:

  • Operates loaders, skid steers, salt/brine truck and other equipment safely during winter snow events.
  • Perform regular site inspections to monitor snow removal quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Communicates with other crews and managers to resolve issues quickly.
  • Completes basic equipment maintenance checks and reports repairs promptly.
  • Maintains accurate work logs and site condition reports.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience operating commercial mowers and landscaping equipment.
  • Proven experience in quality landscape maintenance work with reliable references and portfolio of work.
  • Ability to safely drive trucks with trailers
  • Prior leadership or crew lead experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work all day.
  • Experience operating snow removal equipment (skid steer, loader, or plow truck).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays during snowstorms
  • Valid driver's license and DOT card required. Background checks.
