Humble Crating & Rigging specializes in
Heavy Equipment/Machinery moving, Crating, Rigging, Automation, Facility Relocations, Installs, Decommissioning and Transportation & Logistics.
We support a wide range of industries, including Manufacturing, Aerospace, Government, Medical, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Food Processing, Textile Manufacturing, Energy and Construction — offering turnkey solutions for heavy equipment handling, moving, packaging, and transport either inside the facility, or to an entirely new location.
We're growing fast and looking for a driven, independent Business Development Manager to help expand our reach and bring in new business opportunities across Ohio and Nationwide. Nationwide marketing and outreach will open your opportunity for big commissions.
Position Overview
This is a
commission-only, 1099 contract role
ideal for someone who's motivated by results and financial freedom. You'll generate new business through outreach, networking, and relationship building with manufacturing companies, contractors, and industrial clients.
The more you close, the more you earn — NO CAP on commissions. Earn as much as you want...Seriously.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new client relationships in manufacturing, logistics, and construction sectors as mentioned.
- Prospect and follow up on leads through calls, emails, networking events, and online platforms
- Present company capabilities and service offerings to potential customers
- Coordinate with your leadership to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery
- Track all sales activities and maintain accurate records of your client interactions
- Represent Humble Crating & Rigging with professionalism, integrity, and initiative
Requirements
- Proven background in
sales, business development, manufacturing, packaging industry, or construction
(preferred but not required) - Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable phone, internet, and transportation
- Must be eligible to work as a
1099 independent contractor
Compensation
- 100% commission-based
(no base salary) - Earn
5% of total sale value
on each closed project - Example: A $30,000 sale = $1,500 commission (Projects like these can be in the $Millions)
- Commissions paid upon client payment
