SUMMARY:

The Strategic Sales Support Specialist will provide administrative-based support to the Strategic Sales Specialists and respond to customer/prospect queries. They will provide needed aspects of customer service including but not limited to, entering orders, maintaining backlog reports, updating customer's portals, and resolving any emerging problems that our customer accounts may face with accuracy and efficiency. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction. By taking a lead role in the sales administration for the customer, this role will allow more time for the customer facing sales roles "Strategic Sales Specialist II" and "Strategic Sales Specialist I" to utilize their account development skills to grow sales, increase profitability, and create world class personal sales relationships. As a result, this role will be a critical part of a highly functional and successful strategic sales team.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

High School education or equivalent is required. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with knowledge of sales and customer service best practices. We are looking for a team player who is goal oriented and customer focused. Successful completion of the company's training program is required.

ESSENTIAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process sales orders in a timely fashion
  • Understand all pertinent government regulations and customer terms and conditions and how they relate to PEI-Genesis's processes and capabilities.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Strategic Sales Specialists and the management team
  • Perform data entry duties with regard to sales figures, metrics and other key data or other customer specific duties requested by their manager.
  • Expedite sales orders and proactive expediting from a backlog report
  • Supply customers with technical support, spec sheets and compliance documentation
  • Run administrative reports
  • Assist with special projects and contract data entry
  • Filing, faxing, and retrieving documentation (when required)
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to customers via open order reports and portal entries
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Perform any administrative sales functions needed to solve problems as directed by their manager.
