Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of food and beverage service, and experience with restaurant POS systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment, delivering memorable guest experiences while showcasing your hospitality expertise. Previous fine dining or food industry experience is highly valued, along with a passion for hospitality and guest relations.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
  • Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations
  • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to maintain a clean environment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
  • Address guest inquiries promptly, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience
  • Support host/host duties as needed, including seating arrangements and managing waitlists

Experience

  • Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
  • Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse clientele
  • Experience in food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
  • Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
  • Previous roles such as host/host or busser are advantageous but not required
  • Excellent communication skills combined with a professional appearance and demeanor
