Field Sales Manager

We're looking for a high-energy Field Sales Manager to launch and grow our ABE region team. This role begins as a hands-on field leadership position and, with strong performance, can quickly grow into a District Manager opportunity. We're looking for someone who understands sales, solar, or both—and knows how to inspire a team to win.
Our field sales organization helps local homeowners lower their energy costs through a smart tech platform that automatically shops their PPL bill for the best available rates, while also connecting them with rooftop solar consultation appointments.
What You'll Do:
- Lead from the front—train, coach, and mentor new field representatives serving PPL customers across the Lehigh Valley.
- Drive performance by building a strong, motivated team of field leaders.
- Conduct in-home rooftop solar system consultations and support representatives in the field.
- Represent a mission-driven company focused on reducing energy expenses for local residents.

Position Overview
As the Sales Manager your duties will include:
- Teach sales scripts to representatives
- Field train sales representatives; lead, mentor and coach
- Engage in canvass activities to expand customer base
- Conduct discovery calls and present rooftop solar proposals to prospects
- Oversee daily operations of the team, ensuring personal and team KPIs/goals are achieved
- Work with our Rooftop manager to get projects to completion
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess team effectiveness and implement improvements as needed
- Work with recruiter to scale the field agent base (internal w2s) and conduct own recruiting for 1099s/channel partners

Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy industry, with some experience mentoring others
- Strong knowledge of solar and outside sales (B2C)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual (spanish) abilities are a plus
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.

Pay: $80, $120,000.00 per year
