About Us

Aura of Hope Psychotherapy is a New York–based Telehealth group practice focused on helping clients work through family dynamics and childhood wounds. We believe that many struggles in adulthood — whether anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties — are deeply connected to early experiences, and that addressing these roots creates lasting change. While we welcome clients with a wide range of concerns, this focus is central to our mission.

We also know the work of therapy can be emotionally demanding, and many clinicians have experienced burnout in traditional settings. That's why our practice is intentionally built on respect, support, and autonomy. At Aura of Hope, we believe that hope isn't just for clients — it's for clinicians too. We want therapists to feel energized by their work, with the flexibility to maintain balance in their own lives, and to know that their dedication and growth will always be recognized and supported.

We are also committed to making therapy more accessible by accepting insurance, ensuring that people who most need care can receive it without unnecessary barriers.

Role Overview

As a psychotherapist with Aura of Hope Psychotherapy, you will focus on your clients while we handle the operations. This is a contractor role offering flexibility to build a full caseload or supplement your current work. This is a W-2 employee position for clinicians seeking longer-term stability.

Responsibilities

  • See a minimum of 25 sessions per week (flexible caseload build-up).
  • Conduct Telehealth therapy sessions.
  • Complete intakes, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards of care.
  • Identify and refer out high-risk clients (practice does not provide crisis-level services).

Qualifications

  • Active New York license: LCSW, LMHC.
  • Individual malpractice insurance
  • Reliable Telehealth setup (private space, stable internet, computer with webcam).
  • Strong communication, empathy, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting clients.

Compensation

  • $50–$100 per session, depending on session type.
  • Payouts twice monthly.
