We are a dynamic and innovative statewide membership organization. We are seeking a dedicated multi-faceted individual to join our team who can play a pivotal role in member engagement as well as contributing to the overall goals of the association. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with proven customer service skills, thrive in an environment of collaboration and be able to adjust to varying duties as dictated by the ebb and flow of our fiscal year.

Position:
The Membership Engagement Coordinator manages the daily operations of member data, communications, and engagement efforts. This part-time role (30 hours) is responsible for accurate processing of memberships, maintaining data integrity across systems, supporting board and committee activities, and executing member retention and outreach campaigns. The position ensures the association's membership systems, communications, and records operate seamlessly and efficiently.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage Membership Operations: Process new and renewing memberships, maintain accurate records, verify licenses, and reconcile data across systems (YM, CIVIC, QuickBooks).
  • Enhance Member Engagement: Develop and distribute member communications, surveys, and renewal campaigns to increase retention and satisfaction.
  • Provide Committee and Board Support: Prepare membership reports, maintain rosters and meeting materials, and assist with logistics for board and committee meetings.
  • Oversee Contact and Listserv Management: Maintain listservs and contact forms, ensuring timely updates and member access.
  • Administer Newly Licensed Psychologists Program: Process new licensee memberships and coordinate communications and discounts.
  • Support Events and Continuing Education: Assist with CE recordkeeping, certificate generation, and onsite or virtual event logistics (e.g., Annual Convention).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in membership administration, marketing, or nonprofit operations.
  • Proven attention to detail with strong data entry and reconciliation skills.
  • Experience with YM, CIVIC, QuickBooks, or similar CRM systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and online meeting platforms (Zoom).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities.
