Detego Health is a third-party administrator (TPA) of medical, dental, and vision benefits, leveraging a cutting-edge, cloud-based platform to deliver a seamless and approachable healthcare experience. We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Data/Reporting Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring data integrity, providing actionable business intelligence, and optimizing our Salesforce platform to support scalable growth.
Role Overview
You will be the vital link between our extensive Salesforce data and the strategic business decisions of Detego Health. This role requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects and their relationships, with a primary focus on extracting, manipulating, and analyzing complex datasets. What You'll Do:
- Data & Reporting Expert: Develop, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs), helping management make informed decisions.
- Advanced Data Querying: Utilize SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) and other query tools to efficiently extract, manipulate, and review large, complex datasets for analysis, compliance, and strategic projects.
- System Analysis & Integration: Provide analysis for all data integrations between Salesforce and other systems, ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency across our ecosystem.
- Salesforce Configuration & Support: Support the platform through system configuration, workflow automation, and managing processes to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.
- User & Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams; gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions.
- Testing & Quality Control: Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders and participate in system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Security & Access: Implement and maintain security settings and access controls to protect sensitive data.
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working in a data-focused role (e.g., Data Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Reporting Analyst), with at least 2 years dedicated to the Salesforce platform.
- Expert-level proficiency in SOQL for complex data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis.
- Strong, verifiable understanding of Salesforce standard objects (e.g., Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, custom objects) and the underlying data model, including how objects relate to one another.
- Proven ability to manipulate, review, and analyze large datasets using tools like SOQL, Excel, or other data analysis platforms.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), preferably with experience in Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Highly Desired Experience
- Experience in the Health Insurance/Third-Party Administrator (TPA) industry.
- Experience with Salesforce Administration or configuration, including creating flows, validation rules, and custom fields.
- Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Admin Certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with data integration tools (Snaplogic) or other SaaS platforms (e.g., Netsuite, HubSpot).
