Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of hands-on maintenance and supervisory experience in a high-volume setting
  • Strong skills in electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and basic carpentry
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing responsibilities independently
  • Comfortable using computers, apps, and technology to improve efficiency
  • HVAC Certification is a plus
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and professionalism in interactions with staff, residents, vendors, and associates. 

Banner Property Management is seeking a dependable, hands-on, and customer-focused MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR to help manage the maintenance operations of our luxury multifamily community in Charlotte; Parkside at South Tryon Apartments.

The MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR will work closely with the Property Manager to maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning community. You will take full ownership of day-to-day maintenance tasks, unit turns, preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, and emergency response. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to resident service requests and complete work orders efficiently. 
  • Perform regular unit inspections and implement preventative maintenance plans.
  • Recommend capital improvements and assist with budgeting for repairs and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with vendors and oversee contracted work as needed.
  • Complete all phases of apartment turnovers (make-readies).
  • Maintain curb appeal and perform light grounds keeping duties.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, property staff, and colleagues
  • Physical Requirements: Frequent walking, stairs, standing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds.
