Responsibilities

  • Coordinate procurement activities, including purchasing and supplier management, to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Utilize ERP systems like SAP and Oracle EBS for demand planning, production scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Develop and maintain accurate production plans using MRP and demand forecasting techniques to meet manufacturing targets.
  • Collaborate with plant management and logistics teams to optimize supply chain operations, including transportation and warehousing.
  • Monitor supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for process improvement using lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and purchase order issuance.
  • Support production planning by aligning supply chain activities with manufacturing schedules to minimize downtime and excess inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies throughout all supply chain functions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of supply chain activities for audit purposes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, demand planning, MRP, and production planning processes.
  • Familiarity with procurement, purchasing, logistics, and plant management operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across departments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems integration and supply chain optimization is highly desirable. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes through effective supply chain coordination.
