What you'll do

  • Lead and motivate team members to achieve daily production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Oversee the operation of machinery and equipment, ensuring proper use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
  • Coordinate materials handling and assembly processes to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work areas to enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety.
  • Provide training and support to team members in mechanical knowledge, carpentry, machining, and construction techniques.
  • Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of production metrics, equipment maintenance, and inventory levels.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with hands-on knowledge of assembly and fabrication processes.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, carpentry techniques, and machining practices.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
