We're looking for a Construction Assistant with a CDL to join our field crew and support operations with precision, reliability, and a good sense of humor.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with day-to-day construction site duties, including trenching, backfilling, installing equipment, and site prep/cleanup.
  • Haul equipment and materials using company trucks—CDL is a must
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment under the supervision of the site lead or foreman.
  • Support field technicians during cathodic protection installations, underground utility work, and other infrastructure tasks.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in excellent working order.
  • Ensure job sites are safe, organized, and compliant with company policies and local regulations.
  • Travel to job sites as required—sometimes across state lines—with overnight stays.

What You Bring:

  • Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record—required.
  • Prior experience in construction, telecom, utility work, or similar—preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs and being physically active all day.
  • Safety-first mindset with a solid work ethic and a great attitude.
  • Willingness to travel and work as part of a tight-knit team.
