Foreman – Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Foreman to lead residential renovation projects with a strong focus on bathroom and kitchen remodels. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in demolition, installation, and finishing work, as well as the ability to manage crews, maintain project timelines, and ensure high-quality craftsmanship. This role requires proficiency in removing and installing flooring, windows, and doors, as well as performing drywall installation, repairs, painting, and general carpentry. The Foreman will oversee day-to-day jobsite operations, coordinate materials and subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and communicate clearly with both clients and management to ensure smooth, efficient project completion.

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with bathroom and kitchen remodeling, including layout changes, fixture installation, and finish work.

  • Skilled in flooring installation (tile, laminate, vinyl, hardwood, etc.) and flooring removal.

  • Proficient with window and door installation, including framing, sealing, and finishing.

  • Solid experience with drywall hanging, taping, mudding, and texture matching.

  • Knowledgeable in painting preparation and finishing, including proper primers, coatings, and tools.

  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, scopes of work, and manufacturer installation instructions.

  • Knowledge of building codes, permitting requirements, and inspection standards.

Leadership & Management

  • Ability to supervise work crews, assign tasks, and ensure productivity throughout the day.

  • Strong decision-making skills and confidence in solving on-site problems quickly.

  • Effective coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and team members.

  • Skilled in planning work schedules, managing material deliveries, and keeping the project on timeline.

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized jobsite.
