Branch Administrator  The Branch Administrator will proactively provide Administrative and clerical support for the overall operation. This position is based in Boston, MA in supporting the Boston Public Schools location/contract.   Transdev is proud to offer:
  • Competitive compensation package of minimum $21.00/hour – maximum $22.53/hour

  • Verifies Driver hours and responds to basic inquiries related to work hours.
  • Assists with compiling and filing Drivers' route information.
  • Enters data from various sources to maintain and update various databases and spreadsheets. Ensures data integrity by verifying input and calculations.
  • Types, files, reports, develops spreadsheets, manages databases and performs other related clerical tasks for the department or team.
  • Maintains organized computer and/or hard copy files for easy identification and retrieval.
  • Maintains inventory of departmental office supplies.
  • Posts Driver notifications.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision.
  • At least one year of experience in general office practices and procedures, preferably 3 years.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required, some form of higher education preferred, but not required.
  • Able to multitask with conflicting priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.  Ability to use departmental software programs.
  • Must demonstrate ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal, confidentiality and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
  • Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
  • Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
  • Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise
