Scope

As a Sr. User Experience Designer at Brightway you have an exciting opportunity to join our growing UX organization working on experiences for insurance agents, customer service advisors, and Brightway customers. We are expanding our digital capabilities and maturing our design culture to drive growth and facilitate delightful experiences for all the humans in the ecosystem. In this role, you will identify opportunities, move quickly, and confidently engage with users and teammates to drive B2B and B2C product experiences with high craft, accessibility, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

  • Initiate and drive design work without waiting for assignments.

  • Translate shifting business priorities and user feedback into rapid design iterations.

  • Conduct proactive user outreach, gather insights, and convert them into actionable recommendations.

  • Lead end-to-end design work—from discovery through high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and dev-ready specifications.

  • Ability to explain and defend design decisions through data-driven decision making

  • Ability to identify and test assumptions through experimentation.

  • Communicate clearly with product, engineering, and your design lead to ensure alignment and velocity.

  • Produce high-quality artifacts that reflect strong interaction design, visual polish, accessibility standards, and detailed execution.

  • Contribute to a growing design culture and design system.

  • Stay focused on the bigger picture objectives/goals/metrics of success.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years in UX design with a strong portfolio, including 0–1 product work.

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and at speed in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across product and engineering teams.

  • Proficiency in Figma, design systems, accessibility standards, and qualitative research.

  • Experience in complex systems (insurance, CRM, or similar) is a plus.
