Overview

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, an eye for design, and a desire to learn about brand management and public relations.

Duties

  • Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Tiktok, Threads.
  • Create engaging content tailored for different audiences, utilizing skills in graphic design and photography.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and insights through social listening techniques.
  • Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics to manage posts, track engagement metrics, and analyze performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on branding initiatives and e-commerce strategies.
  • Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases, newsletters and managing relationships.
  • Edit videos, make reels and photos for social media use using Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Help with website updating and collecting photos from previous events

Experience

  • Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer) is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics) for tracking performance metrics.
  • Strong written communication skills with an emphasis on proofreading and content creation.
  • Interest in public relations, branding, e-commerce, and relationship management is desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $26.89 per hour
