Role Overview
The Marketing & Media Manager will lead Execufy's brand, media, and outreach strategy. This position will manage a small team consisting of an Industry Researcher and a Social Media Manager, ensuring their work comes together to create compelling, data-backed, and engaging media content. The manager will oversee content selection, newsletters, branding, and outreach efforts — with the ultimate goal of growing Execufy's visibility, credibility, and user adoption in the hospitality industry.
Core Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
* Directly manage and mentor two team members:
* Industry Researcher → ensures data, insights, and trends are available to back all content.
* Social Media Manager → executes daily posting, community engagement, and content scheduling.
* Assign priorities, set timelines, and ensure the team produces high-quality, consistent output.
* Act as the bridge between leadership vision and the execution team.
- Content & Social Media Strategy
* Oversee and approve final LinkedIn content selections to maximize engagement and credibility.
* Work with the Social Media Manager to maintain a consistent posting schedule and engagement strategy.
* Ensure content aligns with Execufy's voice, branding, and strategic goals.
- Newsletter & Email Campaigns
* Produce and oversee the weekly Execufy newsletter in KIT.
* Curate highlights from the week's best posts, insights, and industry spotlights.
* Collaborate with the researcher to add valuable data or trend commentary.
* Optimize email performance by tracking open rates, click-throughs, and engagement.
- Industry Engagement & Outreach
* Develop and run industry spotlights with prospective users and hospitality leaders.
* Collaborate with the researcher to identify which individuals, associations, or trends to feature.
* Coordinate outreach campaigns to increase Execufy's visibility in the hospitality space.
* Support partnership campaigns with branding, collateral, and media coverage.
- Branding & Creative Direction
* Maintain and evolve Execufy's brand identity across all platforms.
* Oversee design, messaging, and positioning in all media formats (social posts, newsletters, spotlights, decks, etc.).
* Work with leadership to ensure brand strategy aligns with overall growth and business goals.
- Analytics & Growth
* Review analytics from social, email, and outreach efforts weekly.
* Provide reports and recommendations to leadership on engagement and conversions.
* Continuously refine strategies to improve results.
* Stay updated on hospitality marketing trends and best practices to keep Execufy competitive.
Success Metrics
* Team performance: effective use and development of the researcher + social media manager.
* Content engagement: growth in followers, likes, shares, and comments on LinkedIn.
* Newsletter success: consistent delivery with high open/click rates.
* Industry visibility: number and quality of industry spotlights and outreach conversions.
* Brand strength: consistent and recognizable Execufy presence across all media.
