Brian's BBQ in Deland Fl. Located at 795 N. Spring Garden now accepting applications and resumes for Managers. Prior management experience is required as there is room for advancement. We are a scratch kitchen so culinary understanding is helpful. In addition, we have a cater department. Experience and understanding of off site catering is helpful. We do operate an additional Cafe, so Multi Unit understanding and experience is helpful.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to work closely with ownership as a team as Brian's Bar-B-Q embarks on their next stage of accelerated growth. All hospitality staff need to have a good smile, a hospitality heart and a willingness to work as a part of a team.

The ideal candidate is someone who has experience operating food retail spaces (multi-unit or high volume single-unit), loves building and leading teams, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment (and loves Bar-B-Q). Prior Management and Supervision experience is necessary.

Also, The ideal candidate would be passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for our guests and employees, and are interested in growing professionally and/or to a multi-unit manager position.

Additionally, Managing Partnership opportunities are available for qualified and motivated canditates.

The Manager on Duty is responsible for the overall operation of their assigned store(s). This includes managing people operations, sales, inventory, and the guest service experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIE INCULDE

  • Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning stations for employees.
  • Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, disciplining, and terminating employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Achieves financial objectives by monitoring sales targets, maintaining budgets, and properly forecasting labor.
  • Upholds excellent standard of customer service.
  • Ensures availability of merchandise and services by communicating with vendors; maintaining inventories.
  • Maintains a safe and clean environment for customers and employees.
  • Rolls out new menu items to team members and communicates these changes throughout the retail space.
  • Processes weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage and submit all employee forms.
  • Orders and maintains uniform supply and successfully holds all employees to uniform standard.
  • Addresses all maintenance issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivelant preferred
  • Food handlers license required (or ability to complete certification during training)
  • 2+ years of experience in a food retail supervisor role preferred
  • Prior experience supervising a team preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask
