Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the food industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. We're looking for someone who can offer coverage and for the month of January will be needed full time

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
  • Take orders accurately using toast POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through POS systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
  • Provide support to host/host staff during peak hours to manage guest flow effectively.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or restaurant environments.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS, or OpenTable systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards is essential.
  • Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.
