Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team and assist with running our booth at farmers markets in the West Palm Beach area. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that events run smoothly and that guests have an enjoyable experience. This position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Must love dogs

Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all event attendees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all areas are clean and organized. This includes tent, tables, and coolers, so the candidate must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs. and be comfortable standing for the duration of the market.
  • Handle credit card and cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
  • Engage with guests to answer product questions and enhance the overall experience.
  • Supervise event operations as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the event.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working at outdoor events or markets is preferred but not required.

Looking for a fun, upbeat person to join our team and happy to train the right person. This position is an independent contractor position and shifts are available immediately. Hours are 7:00am to 2pm on Saturdays in West Palm Beach. Additional hours will be available once the candidate is trained and can run the booth independently.
