Highlights of what our Construction Fleet Administrator will do:

  • Provides administrative support to the fleet manager of the organization
  • Performs confidential clerical functions for the fleet manager and the yard
  • Ensure customers, vendors, and employees are handled in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assists with DMV vehicle registrations, licensing, and regulations
  • Assists with the administration of the fuel tracking system and reports of employee usage
  • Oversees operations of rental equipment including allocation to jobs for daily costing
  • Assist with equipment rentals and managing shop inventory
  • Process purchase orders for shop supplies/inventory and equipment rentals
  • Supports in other areas as required and assists with special projects as necessary

Are you the right fit for this role? Skills & experience that are necessary as a Construction Fleet Administrator will include, but not limited to:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not a requirement
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Knowledge of basic formulas, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables)
  • Knowledge and experience with Sage/Timberline, Paperless, and/or Fleetio is a plus
  • Adaptable to changes in the work environment with the ability to manage competing demands or unexpected events in a very fast-paced environment
