Your impact

As a key member of Newmont's Finance team, you will play a vital role in supporting our global risk and insurance programs. You'll help ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and effective communication across teams by coordinating premium allocations, managing insurance renewals, and supporting quarterly reporting and budgeting processes.

As part of our team you will

Coordinate and process insurance premium allocations and invoice payments

Review and assess supply chain and legal contracts for insurance requirements

Support quarterly financial reporting and forecasting activities

Prepare documentation for insurance renewals and proof of insurance requests

Assist with internal site visits, appraisals, and data collection for risk assessments

Build and maintain content for the internal Risk Finance communication site

Develop PowerPoint presentations and reports that summarize financial insights

Prerequisites for your success in this role

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field

2–4 years of experience in finance, risk management, or insurance

Strong analytical and Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)

Ability to interpret financial data and present it clearly

Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills

Familiarity with insurance programs (general liability, property, workers' compensation, or cyber) preferred

You'll be part of a collaborative, global Finance team that values accuracy, integrity, and proactive problem-solving. This role is an individual contributor position focused on delivering reliable insights and reports to support key business decisions. Work may include collaboration across Finance, Legal, and Treasury functions.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $88, ,500. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate's salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
