The Opportunity

The Bilingual Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is a full-cycle remote sales role that requires a high-energy, self-motivated sales professional who thrives in a virtual, performance-driven environment. This position prospects veterinary practices, clinics and animal health providers through digital channels and engages internal stakeholders (medical partners) to support product positioning and education when necessary. The ISR is responsible for growing their assigned territory by engaging and building relationships with key decision makers while understanding their needs and positioning our products and solutions.

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Prospect and hunt new business opportunities via outbound calls, emails and digital channels
  • Own the entire sales cycle process form outreach and discovery to product positioning and close
  • Facilitate compelling virtual meetings, lunch & learns, etc. to educate key stakeholders and practice managers with the support of internal partners (medical team)
  • Build deep relationships through interpersonal relationships with key decision makers at veterinary clinics, doctors and distributor agents by listening to needs of the customer.
  • Demonstrate proficient product knowledge on Dechra products and competitive products
  • Leverage a data-informed approach (salesforce) to track metrics, optimize efforts and drive outcomes
  • Deliver consultative and engaging virtual sales experiences, tailored to customer needs and pain points
  • Monitor sales activities: calls completed, number of clinics reached, number of orders, etc.
  • Use CRM data analytics to develop and execute effective territory and account planning
  • Develop pre-call plans for each outbound call including a well-defined commitment objective
  • Maintain a sales process that supports getting to the decision maker, exploring needs and closing the sale
  • Maintain CRM hygiene with detailed notes, activity tracking, and critical customer insights.
  • Timely submission of expense reports and other essential administrative tasks
  • Superior listening and communication skills

  • 2 years of experience in outbound sales or business development role with proven success in full cycle sales with consistent overachievement of targets while managing key relationships in a virtual environment.
  • Animal Health industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelors degree preferred, not required.
  • Bilingual English - Spanish both spoken and written is required.
  • Experience working independently in a remote, performance-based environment
  • Proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Office
  • Sales hunter mentality with a desire to win with a desire to be at the top of the leaderboard
  • Data-driven thinker who tracks KPIs and learns from activity metrics
  • Accountable to your individual results while embracing coaching and continuous improvement
  • Phone-Savvy and digitally agile: strong communicator via remote channels.

  • Occasional travel required
