Job Summary
We're seeking a Paid Search Manager to join our growing media team and lead paid search strategy across a diverse portfolio of clients. In this role, you will lead the development, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns, using your experience in digital marketing to drive measurable results for our clients. Working alongside industry experts, you'll take ownership of account performance across platforms like Google Ads and Bing Ads, while mentoring junior team members and contributing to overall media strategy. What You'll Do
- Develop and oversee comprehensive Google Ads and Bing Ads strategies, ensuring alignment with overall digital marketing objectives.
- Manage, optimize, and scale complex PPC campaigns, using data-driven insights to drive performance and ROI.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to uncover new opportunities and maintain competitive advantage.
- Strategically manage bid adjustments and budgets to maximize campaign efficiency, including overseeing daily and monthly spend.
- Guide ad copywriting and audience targeting efforts, ensuring messaging consistency and campaign relevance.
- Analyze campaign performance data, develop detailed reports, and present actionable insights to stakeholders and clients.
- Work closely with other marketing teams to integrate paid search strategies into broader digital marketing initiatives.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment and sharing best practices to improve overall team performance.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to continuously refine and enhance paid search strategies.
What We're Looking For
- A strong background in digital marketing with experience in paid search, ideally in agency or high-volume environments.
- Experience with conversion tracking implementation (GA4, GTM, Floodlight, etc.) and attribution modeling to measure multi-touch performance.
- Expertise in interpreting complex campaign data and deriving strategic insights to optimize performance.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing concepts (funnel optimization, brand messaging, audience segmentation) with the ability to apply them in advanced campaign strategies.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads, and ideally related certifications, along with a solid grasp of Google Analytics 4.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization) for robust data analysis and reporting.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and mentor junior staff.
- A meticulous approach to campaign management and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate insights and strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- 5+ years of Google Ads experience in Search, Display, Performance Max (PMax), Shopping, or Video campaigns.
- Proven ability to communicate performance insights and strategy recommendations to clients and executive stakeholders.
- Experience using Google Ads automation tools and AI-driven bidding strategies (e.g., Smart Bidding, Performance Max optimization)
- Deep understanding of key paid search metrics (ROAS, CTR, Avg CPC, etc.) and how to calculate and leverage them.
