Position Summary

The Sales Representative (1099 Independent Contractor) is responsible for generating new business, managing leads, and completing the full sales cycle for construction projects across the state of Florida. This role includes a combination of company-provided leads and self-generated leads. This is a 100% commission-based position with substantial earning potential for high-performing individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects through self-generated leads, networking, and referrals.
• Respond to company-provided leads promptly and professionally.
• Conduct site visits throughout Florida to assess project needs and gather measurements.
• Present building options, materials, pricing, and customized project solutions.
• Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and contract documentation.
• Guide customers from initial inquiry through contract signing.
• Maintain organized, accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and proposals.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure proper project transition and customer satisfaction.
• Represent DCS professionally and uphold company standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience; construction or building material sales preferred.
• Knowledge of pole barns, steel buildings, red-iron structures, or roofing systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to manage an independent schedule.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork and outdoor site assessments across Florida.

Compensation

• 1099 Independent Contractor
• Commission-only compensation with no earning cap

This independent contractor relationship may be terminated by either party at any time, with or without cause, subject to the terms outlined in the contractor agreement.
