Join our esteemed Family Practice Sports Medicine office located in Mission Viejo, CA, where compassionate patient care meets excellence in medical practice. Our esteemed Board Certified Family Medicine Physician with a sub speciality in Sports Medicine, and over two decades of dedicated service to the community, is seeking a versatile Medical Assistant or LVN with venipuncture skills, proficiency in performing EKG's and assisting with the front off to join our dynamic team.

At our practice, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a highly respected physician known for his unwavering commitment to patient well-being. We are in search of a candidate who can seamlessly handle diverse responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of our practice while delivering top-notch care to our patients for years to come.

We currently are in the process of transitioning our practice to be affiliated MDVIP which will be a concierge type practice with more detailed testing at yearly physicals promoting longevity and better overall health It will also decrease our patient load significantly giving us more to focus on each patient without being rushed. Responsibilities:

• Engage in patient care management by efficiently gathering chief complaints, vital signs, and medication information.
• Communicate effectively with patients by providing results and scheduling appointments as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous organization of patient charts and medical records.
• Conduct EKGs with precision and accuracy.
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic blood draws and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lab area.
• Perform swabs for flu, strep, and COVID-19 testing.
• Offer assistance during medical examinations when required.
• Collaborate with the front office team to ensure smooth operations and provide excellent patient experiences.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and medical instruments in a pristine condition.
• Punctuality is paramount; arriving on time for shifts is essential.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a medical assistant, showcasing your competence and dedication.
• Familiarity with medical office management systems and procedures.
• Exceptional time management skills, enabling you to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
• A service-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Possession of a Medical Assistant Certification.
• Up-to-date vaccination status, including COVID-19 vaccination, is mandatory.

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:15 AM - 5:30 PM
• Wednesday, Friday: 8:15 AM - 4:30 PM

Work Environment:

• In-person work setting

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of medical experience, including venipuncture skills (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred) or certificate
• LVN

Expected hours: 74 – 80 per week
