Your Responsibilities:
- Establish a proactive safe culture built on continuous improvement
- Maintain equipment in proper working condition through planned and instituted preventative maintenance procedures.
- Oversee equipment spare parts stock inventory, and place orders for new supplies when necessary
- Develops timelines for repairs and works to ensure projects stay on schedule
- Regular site visits to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Prepared and document maintenance logs
- Assist with departmental budget estimates and cost of current and future projects.
- Adheres to company safety procedures
What you'll need:
- In-depth knowledge and skills related to the trade such as hydraulic, pneumatic systems
- Planning and leadership abilities
- Detect malfunctions through sound and visual observations
- Familiarity using various power and hand tools
- Attention to detail
Education and Experience:
- Three years maintenance experience
- Welding experience preferred
- Experience in repair of metal processing equipment, heavy machinery and trucks
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
