Your Responsibilities:

  • Establish a proactive safe culture built on continuous improvement
  • Maintain equipment in proper working condition through planned and instituted preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Oversee equipment spare parts stock inventory, and place orders for new supplies when necessary
  • Develops timelines for repairs and works to ensure projects stay on schedule
  • Regular site visits to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Prepared and document maintenance logs
  • Assist with departmental budget estimates and cost of current and future projects.
  • Adheres to company safety procedures

What you'll need:

  • In-depth knowledge and skills related to the trade such as hydraulic, pneumatic systems
  • Planning and leadership abilities
  • Detect malfunctions through sound and visual observations
  • Familiarity using various power and hand tools
  • Attention to detail

Education and Experience:

  • Three years maintenance experience
  • Welding experience preferred
  • Experience in repair of metal processing equipment, heavy machinery and trucks
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
