The Opportunity

Are you ready to have FUN while you work? Do you get joy from delivering an AMAZING guest experience? We are currently searching for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the team at Airborne Adventure Park.

This is a fast paced, fun and exciting environment requiring a high-energy person with excellent leadership, communication and customer engagement skills. The role also requires that you excel at team member relations, guaranteeing an uplifting and engaging experience for our Team.

As a General Manager, you'll be responsible for effectively leading and managing all aspects of the park and for delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the park. You will accomplish this by setting performance objectives focused on driving sales and profitability, guest and team member satisfaction and ensuring that brand standards are met.

We are looking for top talent to add to our team Airborne Adventure is a small, business with 4 parks across Michigan Imagine working for a company that provides unmatched, out of this world, high flying fun. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join the management team at our Adventure Park.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of a General Manager include:

  • Creating an environment in which all associates are inspired to succeed and have the ability to reach their full potential
  • Functioning as a strategic leader of the park with responsibility for all aspects of the operation, including guest and team member experience, human resources, financial performance and sales and revenue generation
  • Working with the leadership team to develop effective strategies to address needs. Making key decisions and overseeing execution. Removing obstacles to success and ensuring appropriate resources are available to achieve business results.
  • Ensuring brand standards are met with the objective of exceeding guest expectations; communicating follow-up actions to the team as necessary
  • Driving the sales culture in the park through active involvement in the sales process, including encouraging the leadership team to develop effective revenue management strategies and setting aggressive goals that will drive the park's financial performance.
  • Monitoring actual sales and revenues to determine variance and assess goal accomplishments
  • Ensuring that all associate and business decisions are in line with Airborne's Mission and Core Values

Job Requirements

The minimum qualifications for the General Manager position are:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a management or leadership position
  • Proven track record of building a cohesive team and facilitating goal accomplishment
  • Ability to inspire team members and to create a culture of fun, care and accountability
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service
  • Strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills
  • Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example work style
