Experience Required: 5–10 Years (with 1–2 Years in Salesforce Data Cloud)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong Salesforce background with hands-on experience in Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) implementation and configuration. This role requires working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to design and deliver scalable Data Cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer Data Platform – CDP) solutions to support business use cases.
  • Work on data modeling, ingestion, identity resolution, and segmentation within Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, customer journeys, and personalization needs.
  • Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with other Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.) and external systems.
  • Support data mapping, cleansing, and transformation activities to ensure high data quality.
  • Provide technical expertise on data ingestion pipelines (batch & real-time) and API integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Data Cloud-related issues and optimize performance.
  • Train end-users and provide best practices for leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of overall Salesforce experience with a strong functional and technical background.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) experience – mandatory.
  • Strong expertise in data modeling, segmentation, and identity resolution within Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, APIs, data lakes, and streaming data sources.
  • Solid understanding of customer 360, personalization, and customer journey orchestration.
  • Salesforce certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
  • Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator / Architect / Marketing Cloud
