2nd shift - 4pm to 8pm

Duties

  • Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload materials safely.
  • Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols, including OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency within the distribution center.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper mechanical function and safety compliance.
  • Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting as required for various tasks.
  • Support the implementation of warehouse management systems for effective tracking of inventory.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other materials handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes and warehouse management systems.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high productivity levels.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads consistently throughout the shift.
