Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Tool Coordinator to join our BP Tool Coordinator team in Portland, OR. First shift 6:00 pm till 2:30pm for Monday – Friday. Must be willing and able to work any shift (Must be able & willing to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.)
This position will facilitate the acquisition of commodities authorized by Portland Fabrication using procurement systems and processes. The Tool Coordinator will identify and recommend appropriate solutions to meet manufacturing and process needs. They will review delivery and receiving statuses to meet Portland Fabrication requirements. This role will satisfy requirements for non-production materials, portable tools (capital/expense), perishable tools, and shop supplies in support of Fabrication and Manufacturing.

Our team is looking for an Associate Level 2 Tool Coordinator.
Position Responsibilities:
Satisfies manufacturing requirements for non-production materials, tool, and shop supplies.
Analyzes products to ensure compliance with process requirements.
Identifies and recommends appropriate solutions to meet manufacturing and process requirements.
Facilitates acquisition of authorized commodities to meet requirements.
Reviews inventory stock usage to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Supports manufacturing requirements for non-production materials, portable tools (capital/expense), perishable tools, and shop supplies by utilizing inventory management systems and processes.
Analyzes products using industry specifications, procedures, engineering product definition, and manufacturing processes ensuring compliance with process requirements.
Assists with analysis and research of new technology.
Investigates changes in manufacturing requirements and supports emergent requests.
Supports evaluation of outside supplier performance and verification of compliance with procedures and contract specifications.
Performs inventory and coordinates redistribution of materials. Works under general supervision.
Additional Information:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at the Portland, Oregon location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience with Material Management and Inventory Control.
1+ years of experience with Inventory Control Systems.
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to walk, stand, climb, and descend stairs; bend and lift items; package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience with Ariba and CribMaster.
1+ years of experience implementing continuous improvement
1+ years of experience and knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Operations departments/disciplines
1+ years of data analytics experience (using Excel formulas and functions)
Typical Education & Experience:
Typically, 3 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Associates, Bachelors, etc.) preferred but not required.
In locations where SPEEA representation applies, this job family will be covered by the terms of the collective bargaining agreement. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
