Enrolled Agent - Tax Resolution

*3+ years of experience as an EA or aspiring EA with a majority of your time addressing IRS/State inquiries and audits (if few audits, no worries). If tax prep services have been a majority of your time up until now, but looking to become more of a flexible resolution specialist, also a plus.

What the Job Looks Like

Tax Resolution Support & Case Management:

  • Assisting attorneys and other senior EAs in case preparation, agency inquiries, and tax research.
  • Managing client files, ensuring documents are organized, updated, and easily accessible.
  • Coordinating and tracking deadlines and tax compliance requirements.
  • Drafting correspondence, forms, and agreements with attorney/EA oversight.
  • Maintaining client confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

Communication & Client Coordination:

  • Serving as a liaison between attorneys/EAs, clients, and external parties.
  • Managing client communications, scheduling consultations, and keeping clients updated on case progress.
  • Ensuring internal communication among team members is clear, organized, and effective.

Administrative & Compliance Support:

  • Managing legal/tax document software and databases for efficient case tracking.
  • Assisting with business entity formation, contract reviews, and compliance documentation.
  • Supporting office administrative tasks related to legal services.
