Job Summary
The SIS Key Account Executive/Sales and Training Executive will educate, collaborate, and strategize with Executive and Sales Directors, Planner, and internal departments to lead communications to field & retail partners to increase sales and achieve company objectives within the Shiseido Independent Channel for brands Shiseido and Clé de Peau Beauté.

These objectives include servicing top luxury account customers, motivating, and training store associates, all while cultivating strong account relationships. The KAE/STE will serve as a key partner in driving sales in our Spa and Independent store wholesale locations.

What You Will Do
Account Management & Brand Strategy

  • You will develop and cultivate strong relationships, understanding retailer needs and goals.
  • You will strategize with Field Team on seasonal planning.
  • You will manage Channel Marketing Programming. Offers, GWP's, Eventing.
  • You will manage & negotiate VM Image investments, in-store Case line and Planogram updates as specially tailored by brand.
  • COOP: Manage & Maintain COOP, Strategic Planning and Spend.
  • You will manage Company & Retailer objectives while maintaining the specific Brand's Value's.
  • You will collaborate with Brand Marketing Teams on Seasonal Goals and Focuses.
  • You will identify opportunities to enhance brand presence and performance.
  • You will lead, Motivate, and Support Field Team with a positive attitude.
  • You will manage and coordinate the team's Priorities, Workflow, Deadlines, and Deliverables.
  • You will communicate with field teams and manage programming updates to support seamless execution.

Account Sales

  • You will be responsible for driving sales and executing strategies and initiatives within each retailer ensure the achievement of sales plan.
  • You will build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with internal and external business partners resulting in increased understanding of the business and achievement of successful sales results.
  • You will create an open and collaborative environment that influences the sales teams of Independent Stores - SIS. Cascades knowledge and best practices within the field organization.
  • You will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining productive freelance teams as well as Beauty Advisor/Coordinator teams (where applicable)
  • You will act as key liaison and executor both internally and externally of all events within territory, including virtual, with responsibility for achieving all financial targets.
  • You will maintain a professional digital footprint across social media platforms, adhering to company guidelines.
  • You will be accountable for strengthening brand identity by creating visual merchandising consistency within each store and ensuring visual, inventory and operational standards are met.
  • You will ensure all locations consistently support our product and marketing campaigns through customer interactions, training, and successful execution of visual direction.
  • You will evaluate retail trends to determine resource movements against sales.
  • You will meet all deadlines for requests including calendars, expenses, and event recaps. Understand retail partner protocols, support and adhere to their policies.
  • You will enforce and execute company policies, procedures, and operational standards in all locations.
  • You will participate in regional meetings and conference calls to provide partnership and create solutions to address business needs.
  • You will act as Best Brand Partner while representing Shiseido Brands in a positive and professional manner through personal examples and influence of teams.
  • You will work cross functionally with the Education team to grow store personnel with confidence in the brand and their ability to sell the product and build brand awareness.
  • You will maintain an elevated level of knowledge of all products as well as ingredients.
  • You will deliver information in front of large groups for educational and sales purposes both in store, virtually as well as in large regional formats.
  • You will uphold Shiseido Brand Dress Code Guidelines & consistently demonstrate a polished professional appearance, frequently changing makeup styles to reflect current trends by wearing seasonal looks.
  • You will achieve and adhere to budgetary spending commitments: fiscal responsibility inclusive of travel and expense, freelance spending and measurable to preserve profitability and secure bottom line.
  • You will be accountable for achieving company objectives relating to retail sales plan, TE budget, Freelance budget.

Who You Are

  • You have a minimum of 2 years' Cosmetic Account Executive or 5 years' Account Coordinator experience. (or equivalent position)
  • You have demonstrated ability to drive sales through fostering relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  • You can work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships.
  • You can interact with all levels of management in a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment.
  • You can work independently to prioritize and achieve results.
  • You must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You have effective planning, organizational and time management skills
  • You have proficient Microsoft Office Skills
  • You can lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • You can stand for up to 8 hours
  • You can travel up to 30%
  • You must have Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation (where applicable)
  • You can work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
