New York Filmed was launched in August 2025 after our sister company London Filmed gathered a significant client based in the US. We are proud to work with global brands including The Financial Times, Verist and PA Consulting on their event production and video content.

The Role

Dynamic, driven Sales Manager to join our business in New York. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role where you'll shape proposals, build lasting client relationships and directly impact the company's growth in the fast-paced events and production industry.

Client Engagement

  • Work with our existing clients to deliver AV and Livestreaming events
  • Leverage our book of clients to engage and nurture relationships, generating repeat and referral business.
  • Develop and deliver creative pitches, proposals and tailored solutions that showcase our unique capabilities.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize client lifetime value.
  • Act as the primary contact for selected accounts, ensuring outstanding client experiences from first contact through to project delivery.

Partnership Development

  • Proactively build strategic partnerships with venues, agencies and event organisers to drive inbound opportunities.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to raise brand awareness.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing & Design to develop bespoke pitch decks.

Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management

  • Work closely with the Sales Lead to shape and execute creative sales strategies.
  • Manage your sales pipeline in HubSpot CRM, ensuring interactions are tracked, updated and reported accurately.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive outreach and relationship management.

Project Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of projects when appropriate, managing timelines, budgets and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Be the primary point of contact for all stakeholders throughout each project, providing regular updates, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Work with internal staff, and help coordinate freelancers to deliver each project.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project scope, objectives and timelines.
  • Be part of the recruitment process for future hiring in the US.
  • Screen and onboard new suppliers and freelancers as needed, cultivating long-term relationships that add strategic value.

The Person

  • 2–5 years of sales, partnerships or business development experience, ideally within events, production or creative industries.
  • 3+ years of hands-on AV experience in production or events, with a solid track record in end-to-end project delivery.
  • A natural relationship builder with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Creative mindset with the confidence to pitch bold ideas and solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow a sales pipeline independently.
  • Existing Project Management experience is preferred
  • Meticulous and process-driven
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to handle unexpected challenges.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
  • Existing contacts in events, venues, or agencies.
  • Knowledge of AV, live streaming, event production or video production services.

The Package

  • Salary: $85,000-$100,000 per annum
    depending on experience (flexibility to go higher for the right candidate).
  • Company Bonus Scheme: Performance-based bonus scheme, details to be provided.
