Role Description

THIS IS A 100% ONSITE ROLE IN GAINESVILLE - GA (GREATER ATLANTA).

The Staff Accountant is a key member of the accounting team. The Staff Accountant processes accounting transactions and provides information, primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will assist management, its shareholders, and other users in making educated economic decisions about the company's future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in month-end accounting close process to ensure effective, timely, and accurate results.
  • General ledger account review and reconciliation
  • Posting closing journal entries
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations.
  • Support weekly Accounts Payable process
  • Assist with accounting integration of new acquisitions.
  • Complete Ad Hoc requests.
  • Analyze various cost account variances.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-4 years of related experience
  • Experienced in NetSuite preferred
  • Able to prioritize and multitask
  • Public Accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities.
  • Self-starter with process driven work style.
  • Experience with MS 365 applications, with proficiency in Excel.
