Job Description

As a Security Officer - Facility Gate in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and site protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Maintain awareness of the surroundings within a chemical or petrochemical environment, reporting any unusual activities or conditions.Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.Assist with access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
