Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to loss prevention. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing security policies, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or other criminal activity.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, assessing threats and taking appropriate action.
  • Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises.
  • Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or suspicious behavior.
  • Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals in distress.
  • Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when needed to address security concerns.

Skills

  • Proven experience in security roles is preferred.
  • Background in law enforcement or military service is highly regarded.
  • Strong conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
  • Proficient in surveillance techniques and familiar with CCTV operation.
  • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
