Construction Office Manager

Our family construction company is growing, therefore we are looking to hire a new office manager to run the office clerical side of the company. The office is located in Redondo Beach, CA. We specialize in new construction spec homes and we also specialize in structural concrete foundations, concrete/asphalt paving, street work, city work projects, etc. We run a crew of approximately 15-20 full time employees. This is a full time position, 40 hours per week, office hours from 8:00am-4:00pm.
Starting pay is $25.00 per hour, depending on experience the hourly pay could be more. I would like to hire someone that already has general knowledge of construction and office experience in this field. List of daily duties would include, opening of mail, sending emails, filing of bills and paperwork, logging of bills and expenses on jobs, requesting releases from material suppliers, requesting insurance certificates from subcontractors, requesting permits for encroachment and right of way permits from local cities, etc. Balancing checkbooks, paying bills, running payroll for employees on ADP, etc. We are kind of old school, we use Excel for all of our expense logs, job logs, etc. All company checks are hand written, etc.
There will be times I would need you to run errands, make bank deposits, pick up checks, pull permits at cities, pick up plans, surveys, etc. You will be compensated with a company cell phone, company gas card for using your personal vehicle.
I know all companies do things differently, therefore I'm willing to teach, as long as they are willing to put in the effort to learn our ways. This process could take a long time but worth it if the person is looking for a long career at JC Casner Construction.
Requirements include: legal driver's license, clean driving record, social security number, needs to be attentive and pays attention to detail, detail oriented, team player, etc.
